Dracula (2020) - A Netflix Series Review

We have seen several Dracula movies/series based on Bram Stoker's writing. The Dracula(2020) is also based on Stoker's writing. It is developed by Mark Gatiss and Stefen Moffat. It is a mini web series which contains three episodes. Each episode runs for ninety minutes.

The plot is same as Stoker's but the narration is an unique thing. Usually we have seen several battles between the bad (Dracula) and the good (hero/van helsing). This series talk about the adventures of Dracula. It talks about how Dracula manages obstacle in his life. Of course, Dracula becomes a hero in this series.

This series is designed as Dracula narrates his adventure to a beautiful Nun. The first episode deals with the battle between Dracula and Agatha Van Helsing. The second episode deals with sea adventure of Dracula and goes on. Every actors have done their job well. The only mistake is the slow burn screenplay. Initially, it seems an interesting one but after an episode the plot is not moved and it is revolving in the same place.

Technically the series is so strong but it fails in its duration. Each episode gives a feeling of watching a movie and sometimes it is slow burn. It is R rated for its blood shots. It is now streaming in Netflix and BBC. If you are new to see Dracula story or if you want to pass the time, Dracula 2020 will be good choice. Worth to spend time for horror lovers.
